Hello (again), world!
We’re moving the IEEE BV Computer Society Chapter to a new platform in order to make it easier for members to communicate and share.
We are looking for speakers and now authors. If you’d like to write for this site, please contact one of the officers (at right) to get an account here.
New Chapter Officers for 2010
Deron Johnson and Jerry Isdale have joined as chapter volunteers for 2010.
Deron is an expert in Solaris and Windows Server systems with over 25 years in systems support and architecture at Raytheon and Amgen. He installed the first firewall at Amgen and has developed cross-platform management integration to run large heterogeneous environments.
Jerry has been a software practitioner for over 25 years. Jerry is actively involved in setting up maker/hacker spaces and works with CrashSpace in Culver City. He most recently left Aerovironment in Simi Valley to move to a new house on Maui in Hawai’i and set up maker spaces there.
Contact Deron or Jerry via the email links under “Chapter Officers” to the right.
Welcome aboard and thanks guys!
